Dr. John Farley

Dr. John Farley has extensive work experience in the medical field. Dr. John served as the Chief Medical Officer at Complete Health, where they oversaw patient care for over 70 providers across multiple locations. Dr. John also held the position of Alabama Market President at Complete Health. Prior to this, Dr. Farley was the Medical Director at One Nineteen Health and Wellness, Ascension, Kindred Hospice, and Birmingham Internal Medicine Associates, P.C. Dr. John founded and served as the President and Physician at Birmingham Internal Medicine Associates, which was one of the largest primary care practices in Birmingham. Additionally, they served as the Medical Director at Highlands Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation, Hospice Advantage, St. Vincent's HealthCare, Hanover Rehabilitation, and UAB Medicine. At UAB Medicine, they also held positions as the Medical Director of Primary Care Pod and the Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine. Overall, Dr. John Farley has a wealth of experience in various leadership roles within the medical field.

Dr. John Farley completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, General at The University of Georgia from 1983 to 1987. Dr. John then pursued their medical education at the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University, where they earned their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from 1987 to 1991. Following this, Dr. Farley undertook an Internal Medicine Residency Program at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, which they completed from 1991 to 1994.

Throughout their career, Dr. Farley obtained several certifications. In 1992, they received the Medical Doctor certification from the Alabama Board of Medical Examiners. Later, in 1994, they achieved Board Certification in Internal Medicine from the American Board of Internal Medicine. Most recently, in 2008, Dr. Farley acquired the Board Certified Hospice and Palliative Medicine certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine.

In 2018, Dr. Farley pursued further education in Ministry Leadership at Highlands College, graduating in 2020.
