Charlie Serrano

Charlie Serrano has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. In 2012, they interned at npower, where they worked on an information management project for the Engineering department. Charlie later joined The Student Consultancy as a Project Leader, overseeing a real-life consultancy project with a local charity. Charlie also worked as a Tutor at Oxford Science Studies in 2017. In 2016, they conducted research at the University of Oxford, focusing on isotopic effects of spin-dependent reactions within Cryptochromes. Afterwards, they worked as a Data Planning Executive at BLUEFROG FUNDRAISING LIMITED, where they performed fundraising analysis and automated data procedures using SQL Server. From 2019 to 2020, Charlie worked at Elsevier as a Technology Associate, developing a web app and building tooling to support other product teams. Currently, they are employed as a Software Engineer at ComplyAdvantage.

Charlie Serrano attended Radley College from 2007 to 2012, where they obtained A levels in Maths(A*), Further Maths(A), Chemistry(A), and Physics(A). Additionally, they achieved 9 A* and 1 A in their GCSEs. Following this, Charlie enrolled at the University of Oxford, where they pursued a Master of Chemistry degree from 2013 to 2017. The field of study for their Master's program is not specified.
