Douglas James

Douglas James is a skilled software engineer with extensive experience across multiple companies, currently employed at DEPT® since April 2023. Prior to this role, Douglas worked at Raybeam, Inc. as a software engineer for one year and at Rush ReCommerce for another year, focusing on developing software solutions. From July 2017 to March 2021, Douglas served as an application developer at American Access Casualty Company. With a background in audio, Douglas also worked as a voice-over talent from 2010 to January 2020, contributing to commercials for brands such as Motorola and McDonald's. Douglas is a graduate of the 19-week Dev Bootcamp program that emphasizes modern web development skills. Earlier in the career, Douglas gained experience in audiovisual technology as a technician at PSAV, while also freelancing as a music composer and producer for various clients between 2005 and 2016, along with a role as house manager for the Blue Man Group from 2011 to 2014.
