Martin Folke Vasehus has worked in a variety of roles since 2006. From 2006 to 2009, they served as a Surf Lifeguard for TrygFonden. From 2009 to 2011, they worked as a Student at Horten and as an Attorney-at-Law at Bruun & Hjejle Advokatpartnerselskab. In 2011, they began lecturing at the University of Copenhagen, teaching European and International Commercial Law (Formueret IV) and participating in the C. Vis Willem International Commercial Arbitration Moot. In 2017, they founded ComplyCloud, a Danish LegalTech SaaS, and began working as an IT Attorney and founder at CIT Law Firm (www.citlaw.dk).

Martin Folke Vasehus obtained a Master of Science (MSc) in IT Management from IT-Universitetet i København in 2017 (part-time). Martin Folke previously obtained a Cand. Jur. from Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen in 2011, after being an exchange student at the University of Alberta in 2010. In 2016, they were certified as an IT-Advokat by Danske IT-Advokater and in 2020, they were certified as an ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer by PECB.
