Brett Oster

Brett Oster has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Brett is currently serving as the Head of SRE at Composable Finance since 2022. Prior to this, from 2016 to 2022, Brett worked at Backstop Solutions Group, where they held multiple positions including Vice President at large, Vice President of Infrastructure and Automation, Director of IT Infrastructure, and Senior System Administrator. In these roles, they demonstrated strong leadership skills and expertise in overseeing database, DevOps, network, SDET, system administration, application support engineering, and data operations teams. Brett excelled in solving complex business problems and maintaining operational efficiency while ensuring long-term architectural vision. Before joining Backstop Solutions Group, Brett worked at Enova International from 2006 to 2016. There, they served as the Head of Callcenter Technology Operations and later as the Interim Director of IT. During their time at Enova International, Brett successfully led several significant projects, including the migration of the company's virtualization stack and implementation of a Linux thin client desktop in a 500-seat callcenter. Additionally, they worked as an IT Manager and Lead Linux/Telecom Engineer, contributing their expertise in various areas such as LDAP, Samba, Cisco routing and switching gear, data center planning, Asterisk, and security initiatives. Prior to Enova International, Brett was the Senior Administrator of Systems and Networks at Platinumtel Wireless, where they played a key role in designing and building an internal infrastructure management system and managing the network with Cisco and Linux devices. Overall, Brett Oster has accumulated a wealth of experience in IT infrastructure management, system administration, project leadership, and process improvement throughout their career.

Brett Oster received their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from DeVry University. Brett completed their studies at the university from 2000 to 2003.
