Dr. Alysia Wu, Ph.D.

Dr. Alysia Wu, Ph.D. has a wide range of work experience, beginning in 2016 as a Software Engineer at Verizon Digital Media Services. In 2018, they moved to Credit Karma as a Software Engineer III. In 2020, they joined Chime as a Senior Software Engineer. In 2021, they worked at Opendoor as a Senior Software Engineer and was an OnDeck Founder Fellow (ODF11). Dr. Alysia is currently working at Compound Labs as a Senior Software Engineer, Lewkprotocol.xyz as Founder & CEO, and Future Protocol as Founder & CEO. Additionally, they are part of Cohort 3 at LAUNCH.

Dr. Alysia Wu, Ph.D. has a comprehensive education history. In 2005, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Polymer Science and Engineering from Beijing University of Chemical Technology. Dr. Alysia then went on to obtain a Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) in Materials Chemistry from Syracuse University in 2009-2011. In 2009-2013, they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Metallic alloyed nanoparticle Synthesis and Properties from Syracuse University. In 2017-2018, they obtained a MicroMaster in Artificial Intelligence from Columbia University. Dr. Alysia is currently enrolled in Y Combinator's startup school for summer 2022. Additionally, they have obtained numerous certifications from various institutions, including LinkedIn, lynda.com, American Air Liquide, Coursera Verified Certificates, Columbia University in the City of New York, CFA Institute, Johns Hopkins University, O'Reilly School of Technology, and Columbia University.
