Christine Colon

Christine Colon has extensive experience in mental health counseling and vocational rehabilitation. Currently serving as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor at NJ Friendship House since October 2016, Christine provides individual mental health and vocational counseling. Additionally, Christine has been a Residential Counselor at Comprehensive Behavioral Healthcare Inc. since April 2016, offering mental health support to residents while assessing and evaluating behaviors. Previously, Christine worked as a bartender at Mickey's Sports Bar and Grill, where training staff and ensuring guest satisfaction were key responsibilities. Early experiences include internships at North West Essex Community Healthcare Network and Hackensack University Medical Center, focusing on person-centered care and crisis intervention. Christine holds a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology/Psychiatric Rehabilitation from Rutgers University, along with an Associate’s Degree in Nursing from Bergen Community College.
