Shari Gunaka

Shari Gunaka is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in work life services, having served as the Director of Work Life Services at ComPsych since September 2011. In this role, Shari manages key operations, oversees team productivity, and ensures high-quality service delivery. Responsibilities include financial oversight for multiple business units, product development, and fostering partnerships to support clients in crisis. Prior to ComPsych, Shari worked as a Domestic Violence Advocate and Forensic Interviewer at the Chicago Children's Advocacy Center, where responsibilities involved conducting forensic interviews and providing support to families during investigations. Additionally, Shari has experience as a Victim Witness Specialist at the Cook County States Attorneys Office, focusing on crisis intervention and victims' rights. Educational qualifications include a Master's Degree in Applied Forensic Psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology, a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Governors State University, and an Associate's Degree in Liberal Arts from Moraine Valley Community College.
