Yasir El Kabbany

Yasir El Kabbany is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the IT industry, currently serving as the Senior Regional Director for the Middle East and Africa at CompTIA since December 2014. Yasir's previous roles include Regional Director and Territory Manager at CompTIA, as well as Projects Manager and Senior Technology Consultant at International Information Technology Co LLC, where significant projects for the Omani government were led. Yasir is an Advisory Board Member for both the ISET program at Abu Dhabi Polytechnic and Africa Cyber Defense Forum. In addition, Yasir is an active member of AmCham Egypt and AmCham Abu Dhabi, representing CompTIA. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Information Systems Management from the University of Liverpool and a Postgraduate Certificate in Digital Transformation from Purdue University.
