Ashok Kakani

Ashok Kakani is an experienced Chief Information Security Officer with a diverse background in information security and technology management. Currently serving as the Chief Information Security Officer at Compunnel Inc. since November 2024, Ashok has held similar positions at Inspira Enterprise, VFI SLK, and EZLynx, overseeing various aspects of data and security management. Prior roles include Director of Security at Voya Financial and Director of Information Security at AIG. Ashok's extensive experience also encompasses significant positions at JPMorgan Chase and IBM, where responsibilities included IT security, risk mitigation, and the management of large-scale engagements. Ashok began a career at ISRO, contributing to successful satellite launches as a Scientist/Engineer after earning a BE in Instrumentation and Control from the University of Madras.
