Dag Spicer is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the fields of computer history, technical writing, and engineering. Spicer currently serves as a member of the ACM History Committee since August 2024, while also holding the position of Senior Curator at the Computer History Museum since 1995, where significant contributions include transforming the institution into the world's largest computer museum. Spicer has a proven ability to lead both technical and non-technical teams on complex projects, and has participated in numerous media interviews regarding computer history. Previous roles include membership on the editorial board of the IEEE Annals of the History of Computing, the Chief Engineer at Orbital Designs, as well as the CEO and Founder of Pacific Documentation Group. Spicer's educational background includes a PhD in History and Philosophy of Science and Technology from Stanford University, along with several other degrees from esteemed institutions.
