Vicky Sedgwick

Vicky Sedgwick is a seasoned web designer, webmaster, and consultant with experience spanning from 1998 to the present in self-employment. Vicky contributes to the Computer Science Teachers Association as a CS Educator Standards Writer since September 2015, where responsibilities include revising ISTE Standards for Computer Science Educators. Vicky leads the AI4K12 K-2 Working Group, developing national guidelines for AI education and creating a resource directory to facilitate AI topics in K-12 education. As a K-8 Teacher Representative on the Board of Directors, Vicky directs the strategic priorities of CSTA, while also serving as a K-5 CS Standards Writer. Previous teaching roles include Computer Science Teacher at Laurence School from December 2019 to June 2023, and K-8 Technology Teacher at St. Martin in-the-Fields Episcopal School from September 2007 to August 2019, focusing on curriculum development and technology integration. Early career experience includes roles as a System Analyst at Hyperion Software and a Senior Systems Analyst at MAI Basic Four/MAI ASC from 1982 to 1998.
