Lahiru Prabath Balasuriya

Lahiru Prabath Balasuriya serves as the Lead Engineer for Network and Security at Connex Information Technologies since August 2017, focusing on the implementation and consultancy of enterprise security solutions, including SIEM, SOAR, and various compliance standards such as ISO 27001 and GDPR. Previous roles at Connex include Senior Engineer and Engineer positions, where Lahiru worked on Security and Network Projects and provided Proof of Concept demonstrations for clients. Educational qualifications include a B.Sc (Special Honors) in Information Technology with a specialization in Cyber Security from SLIIT and an MBA specializing in Digital Marketing from the University of Bedfordshire. Additional affiliations include membership in the Computer Society of Sri Lanka and IEEE.
