Rasantha Hettithanthrige

Rasantha Hettithanthrige has extensive experience in the telecommunications industry, currently serving as a Consultant for Wireless Networks and the Chief Technology Officer at Mobitel (Pvt) Ltd since May 2003, where overall management of a 300-member division, network evolution, and operations excellence for various network technologies are key responsibilities. Rasantha also holds a position as an Executive Council Member of the Computer Society of Sri Lanka since January 2020. Prior experience includes roles as Head of Network at Hutchison Lanka (Pvt) Limited, overseeing a 50-member division, and Head of Customer Care at Hutchison Sri Lanka (Pvt) Limited, focusing on subscriber fulfillment and customer lifecycle management. Rasantha's educational background includes a Stanford LEAD Professional Certificate in Organizational Leadership, an executive education in innovation from INSEAD, and a BSc (Hons) in Electronics & Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Moratuwa.
