Vinod Thomas

Vinod Thomas serves as a DNC Member representing North Carolina since August 2024 and has a long history of involvement in Democratic organizations. Thomas is the Director of Test Prep at Davidson Learning Center since September 2009 and holds several leadership positions, including First Vice Chair of the Democratic Party of Mecklenburg County and North Carolina Statewide Advisor for the High School Democrats of America. Thomas has been a member of the North Carolina Democratic Party’s State Executive Council and the National Association of Parliamentarians. Experience includes serving as Deputy Coalitions Director for AAPI and Progressive Engagement at Fight For NC during the 2020 election, successfully coordinating volunteer efforts to support Joe Biden's campaign. Thomas has also participated as a delegate in multiple DNC conventions. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Comprehensive Science Education from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, a Bachelor of Arts from Davidson College, and additional studies at the University of Cambridge.
