Sanniyyah Nelson has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Sanniyyah started their career at Verizon as a Software Engineer and Contract Management specialist, where they worked on contract development and software release/project management for billing systems. Nelson then joined Citigroup as a Senior Process Control Analyst, focusing on developing and implementing process documentation and control analysis tools.

Afterwards, Nelson worked at SAIC as a Project Management Analyst and Process/Metrics Engineer, supporting architecture assurance contracts with the Department of Homeland Security. In these roles, they provided guidance to project teams and developed metrics reporting programs for system lifecycle management processes.

Nelson then joined SAIC again as a Business Process Analyst, where they supported a process automation contract with the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute. Sanniyyah utilized Agile methodology and managed project activities from planning to implementation.

Following that, Nelson worked at Leidos as a Project Manager, overseeing contract administration activities for the Process Automation Contract with the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute.

Most recently, Nelson joined Computer World Services Corp. (CWS) as a Deputy Program Manager, where they direct contract administration activities and serves as the program-level system engineering co-leader. Sanniyyah collaborates with stakeholders and explains technology to non-technical audiences. Sanniyyah was also previously a Service Integration Lead for CWS, responsible for directing integration activities and ensuring technical solution support for user requirements.

Sanniyyah Nelson has a strong educational background in engineering and systems management. From 1995 to 1999, they attended Howard University and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. Following their undergraduate studies, from 2001 to 2003, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Engineering Management & Systems Engineering at The George Washington University. Additionally, in November 2007, Sanniyyah Nelson obtained an ITIL Foundation certification from APMG.
