Rich McVeigh Ph.D. has a diverse work experience in various scientific roles. Rich started their career as a Post-Doc at the University of Maryland Baltimore County from July 1993 to December 1995. Rich then worked as a Post-Doc at the University of Texas at Dallas from January 1996 to August 1996, where they supervised a research staff and managed daily laboratory operations. Following this, they joined the National Institutes of Health as a Post-doc from 1996 to 1998, conducting research on transcriptional regulation in Saccharomyces cerevisiae.
In 1998, Rich McVeigh joined Computercraft Corporation and held two roles. As a Bioinformatics Analyst, they were a member of the GenBank staff at the National Center for Biotechnology Information, where they processed and curated DNA sequence submissions. Afterward, they served as a Project Manager I, acting as a liaison to the government client and overseeing a team of Ph.D. contract analysts. Rich participated in hiring, training, and evaluating the analysts.
Rich McVeigh Ph.D. obtained their Bachelor's degree in Biology from The College of New Jersey. Rich attended the college from 1984 to 1988. Rich then pursued further education at Rutgers University, where they earned their Ph.D. in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics. Rich'sdoctoral program spanned from 1988 to 1993.
