Marsha Honaker-Jackson has worked in a variety of roles in the healthcare industry since 2000. Marsha began as an Assistant Professor at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, then moved to the University of Tennessee Bowld Hospital where they served as the Director of the Pharmacy Division of Transplantation and Chairman of the Solid Organ Transplantation/Immunology Pharmacy Residency Accreditation Committee. In 2003, they became a Clinical Specialist at Methodist University Healthcare. From 2010 to 2013, they worked as a Clinical Pharmacist on the IVIg, PAH, and Hemophilia Team at Accredo - An Express Scripts Company. In 2015, they returned to the University of Tennessee Health Science Center as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Clinical Pharmacy and was concurrently Chairman of the Accreditation Committee at Benevere Specialty Pharmacy. In 2017, they became an Independent Consultant at Honaker-Jackson Consulting and in 2021, they were appointed Director of Clinical Operations at Compwell.
Marsha Honaker-Jackson completed a Pre-Pharmacy Curriculum at Virginia Intermont College from 1991 to 1994. Marsha then attended Virginia Commonwealth University and earned a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) in 1998. Following this, they completed a General Pharmacy Practice Residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center from 1998 to 1999, and then a Specialty Residency in Solid Organ Transplantation/Immunology at The University of Tennessee Health Science Center from 1999 to 2000.
