Matthew Galvin

Matthew Galvin is a seasoned professional with significant experience in software architecture and bioinformatics. Currently serving as a Software Architect at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute since August 2022, Matthew has previously held roles as a Bioinformatics Pipeline Engineer at Invitae, Bioinformatics Scientist and Genomics Software Engineer at Providence Health & Services, and various engineering positions at Illumina, including Engineer in Product Lifecycle and Software Test Engineer. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Oregon State University, completed in 2014, and also attended the University of Oregon from 2010 to 2011.
