Alex Marion

Alex Marion is a Design Engineer at CompX Security Products since June 2018, specializing in the design of mechanical and electronic locks, as well as custom OEM products for diverse sectors including construction, automotive, marine, medical, and security. Responsibilities include developing concept designs, conducting DFMEA, performing tolerance analysis, and creating DVPR in accordance with the APQP process. Previously, Alex served as a Mechanical Engineer at Perfection Spring & Stamping Corp. from March 2015 to June 2018, focusing on preparing part estimates and reviewing part feasibility, design, and manufacturability. Alex holds a Bachelor's Degree in Agricultural and Biological Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, earned between 2009 and 2014.
