Pam Snyder, SPHR, SHRM-SCP has had a diverse and extensive work experience in various HR leadership roles. Pam started their career as a Personnel/Office Manager at Byron Jackson Pump Division of Borg-Warner Corp. in 1985. Pam then worked as an HR Generalist at the University of Virginia from 1986 to 1989, where they managed all HR functions for the Division of Continuing Education.
In 1989, Pam became the Director of HR at Virginia Metalcrafters, a manufacturing plant with 300 employees. Pam was responsible for managing HR operations and overseeing the workforce.
Pam joined Sunnyside Retirement Communities in 1995 as an HR Manager, where they contributed to HR activities in the organization. In 1998, they assumed the role of Virginia State President at the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and served until 2000.
Pam then worked as an HR Generalist at McKee Foods Corporation from 1998 to 2000. Pam'sresponsibilities included providing HR support and services to the company.
In 2000, they joined ComSonics, Inc. and held two roles simultaneously: Director of HR and Corporate Director of Human Resources. Pam served as the HR leader in the organization for over two decades, until June 2021.
From 2007, Pam also served as the Director of Music at Second Presbyterian in the PCUSA, demonstrating their versatility and passion for music.
