Sharon Fitzgerald

Sharon Fitzgerald joined Comstock as Managing Director of Commercial Property Management in June 2020. Ms. Fitzgerald is responsible for the commercial property management functions to include operation of the properties, customer service, employee training and mentoring, financial reporting, budget preparation and project management.

Ms. Fitzgerald brings over 35 years of property management experience to Comstock and has a proven track record of providing superior customer service and operational excellence. Ms. Fitzgerald has a wide range of experience managing properties in Washington, DC, Northern Virginia and Northern California which includes commercial properties, residential properties and associations. Ms. Fitzgerald is responsible for developing and implementing a best-in-class operating platform to ensure customer satisfaction and retention as well as maximizing operational efficiency.

Prior to joining Comstock, Ms. Fitzgerald was a Director at Tishman Speyer, a global real estate development and property management firm, for over fourteen years. During her time at Tishman Speyer, Ms. Fitzgerald was responsible for the day-to-day property operation, financial reporting and customer service for properties on Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington, DC as well as properties in Rosslyn, Tysons and Reston in Northern Virginia. Ms. Fitzgerald was also responsible for implementing and rolling out a tenant services platform to promote work-life balance to include a collection of services, experiences and discounts. Ms. Fitzgerald began her career at The Evans Company, a real estate development firm, working primarily in Tysons, Virginia which included the opening of several newly constructed commercial properties. CarrAmerica Realty Corporation acquired The Evans Company in 2005 and Ms. Fitzgerald continued her career including time in San Jose, California with a newly purchased portfolio of commercial properties in Silicon Valley which included the implementation of a facility services department.

Ms. Fitzgerald graduated with a BS from Virginia Tech in Early Childhood Education. She holds the designations of a Certified Property Manager (CPM) and a Real Property Administrator (RPA).
