Tracy Schar

Tracy Schar joined the Comstock organization in 1990. During her tenure with Comstock Holding Companies®, Inc. (NASDAQ: CHCI), Ms. Schar has held various management positions with responsibility for management of corporate marketing and branding, project marketing and branding, and product design. In her current role as Senior Vice President of Marketing and Brand Management of Comstock Holding Companies®, Inc. (“Comstock” or “Company”), Ms. Schar is responsible for development and management of all marketing and branding initiatives, and oversight of the Company’s public relations functions. As a member of the Company’s senior management team and its Architectural Design Committee, Ms. Schar plays a key role in the design of the Company’s real estate development projects and buildings, with a particular focus on interior designs. During her tenure with Comstock, the Company has earned multiple industry awards and accolades for its real estate developments, building designs, and interior designs. Ms. Schar is also responsible for guiding the Comstock organization’s civic engagements and charitable initiatives.

Ms. Schar played key roles in the founding and management of the Comstock organization and is a principal of Comstock Partners, LC (“Partners”), a family-owned, private company that holds a majority interest in each of the stabilized and development assets included in the portfolio of Assets Under Management (“AUM”) by Comstock that anchored the 2018 transition of the Company’s operations from a focus on for-sale homebuilding to commercial development, asset management, and real estate services. Ms. Schar began her career in real estate with the NVR organization where she held positions in marketing administration for NV Homes as well as administrative positions with NVR Mortgage.

Ms. Schar is a previous member of the Executive Board of Directors of the Congressional Coalition on Adoption (CCAI) in Washington, DC (2008 to 2016), and the Board of Visitors of George Mason University (2014 to 2018). Ms. Schar and her husband, Chris Clemente, have been long-time supporters of numerous charitable organizations in the Washington, DC region that support international adoptions, foster care programs, and that provide housing, educational and other assistance to families and children in-need.

Ms. Schar graduated from George Mason University in Fairfax Virginia with a B.S. in Business Management in 1984.
