Rhonda Kaschmitter

Rhonda Kaschmitter is an experienced regulatory manager with a career spanning several decades in the oil and gas industry. Since March 1995, Rhonda has worked at Comstock Resources, Inc., overseeing regulatory staff to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to drilling, operating, and producing oil and gas wells, while also coordinating Louisiana hearing work with external attorneys and consulting geologists. Prior to this role, Rhonda held positions as a regulatory analyst at Comstock Resources, where responsibilities included ensuring compliance for over 1,000 wells across multiple states and collaborating with various departments to develop drilling locations. Earlier experience includes roles at Petrus Oil Co/Bridge Oil Co as a regulatory analyst and engineering tech, as well as a clerk position at Exxon, and starting a career as a science teacher at Ballinger ISD. Rhonda earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and Teaching from Angelo State University between 1980 and 1984.
