Michael Plourde

Mr. Plourde joined Comtech as Corporate Vice President of Global Engineering and Programs in March 2020. Prior to Comtech, Mr. Plourde held various leadership roles at Globecomm Systems, where he was a member of the executive leadership team. Most recently, Mr. Plourde was responsible for the global engineering and operations functions of the company delivering remote communications and multi-network infrastructure to enterprise, maritime, media, and government customers worldwide. Previous management roles included Program Management Office, Government Programs, and System Products. Prior to Globecomm, Mr. Plourde worked at GTE Spacenet as an RF Systems Engineer. Mr. Plourde has 30 years of experience in satellite ground station system engineering and managed satellite service delivery. Mr. Plourde holds a BSEE from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and is PMP certified.
