Pierre Plangger

Mr. Plangger has been President of Comtech Solacom Technologies since February 2019, following the acquisition of Solacom by Comtech. Prior to Comtech’s acquisition, he served as the CEO of Solacom since October 2014. Mr. Plangger was with Solacom from 2002 to 2009, where he served as VP of Sales and Marketing, for the air traffic control (ATC) division which was sold to Harris Corporation in 2009. As a result, Mr. Plangger became the Managing Director of the Harris ATC business unit, part of the Harris Mission Critical Networks division. From 1992 to 2002, he was with CML Technologies holding positions of increasing responsibilities in the areas of marketing, product management and business development, to ultimately becoming the Vice President and General Manager of the 9-1-1 division. Mr. Plangger studied at the Telfer School of Management, at the University of Ottawa, Ontario.
