Sheryl Hanchar

Sheryl Hanchar serves as the Global Chief Information Security Officer at Comtech Telecommunications Corp. since January 2024, following a distinguished career in information security and military service. Currently a Board Member for the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification Accreditation Body (CMMC AB) since September 2020, Sheryl also holds the position of US Naval Officer in the US Navy Reserve since August 2000. Prior experience includes Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer at Cobham Advanced Electronic Solutions, Director of Information Security at Broadcom, and Manager of Threat Mitigation at Harris Corporation. Sheryl possesses advanced degrees in Information Security and Computer Information Systems from Pace University and Adelphi University, respectively.
