Andrew Difilippo

Andrew DiFilippo is a seasoned packaging engineer with extensive experience in the food industry, currently serving as a Packaging Engineer II at General Mills since August 2020. Andrew has led significant cost savings and innovation projects for the Pillsbury brand, notably earning the Bell Technical Award for preventing a potential $150MM shutdown. Prior to this, Andrew worked at Conagra Brands as a Packaging Engineer, where packaging development for Canadian and Global Markets was overseen, along with managing supplier transitions that resulted in substantial savings. Earlier roles included an Associate Packaging Engineer and Packaging Intern at ConAgra Foods, where Andrew contributed to various projects and won an internal innovation competition. Andrew's background also includes internships in marketing and event planning, complemented by a dual Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Science and Communications from Michigan State University.
