Bernhardt Schuster has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Bernhardt started their career as a Project Engineering co-op at BMW Group in 2006 and later moved on to Group ACS as a Research & Development Engineering co-op. At Group ACS, they led a project to develop and implement a control system for air and water tightness of lateral sliding windows in the automotive industry. Bernhardt then joined MTU Aero Engines in 2008, where they worked as a Project Engineering co-op, focusing on preventive maintenance and technical approvals of exhaust systems for industrial machinery.

In 2010, Schuster joined MTU Maintenance Canada and held several roles throughout their tenure. Bernhardt started as an Industrial Engineering & Production Coordinator in the process engineering & repair development team, supporting process optimization and implementation of new capabilities. Bernhardt was later promoted to the position of Senior Manager Process Engineering & Repair Development, where they played a key role in coordinating repair development and process engineering. Bernhardt further progressed to the role of Senior Manager Technical Support & Production Control, responsible for production planning, control, and development of production strategies. Finally, Schuster served as the Director of Engineering & Technical Support, reporting to the CEO and leading five departments within the organization.

Most recently, Schuster joined Conair Aerial Firefighting in 2018, where they initially served as the Vice President of Engineering, Maintenance & Supply Chain. Bernhardt later took on the role of Vice President of Engineering & Programs in June 2020. Additional details about this role, such as the start and end dates, are not provided.
