Colin Halldorson is an experienced aviation professional with a career spanning over two decades in various roles related to aircraft maintenance and airworthiness. Currently serving as the Airworthiness Manager at Conair Aerial Firefighting since November 2012, Colin has also held positions such as Shops Manager and Component Shop Crew Leader within the same company. Prior to this, Colin worked at Northern Thunderbird Air as the Assistant Director of Maintenance from May 2008 to November 2012, and at Pacific Coastal Airlines as a Crew Chief from September 2001 to May 2008. Colin began their career as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer at Innotech-Execaire Aviation Group from September 1999 to July 2001. Colin's education includes training at the British Columbia Institute of Technology from 1998 to 1999.

The airtanker is converted at Conair's hangars in Abbotsford at a pace of one every 75 days. Offering a depth of resources, Conair provides wildfire agency partners the full advantage of economies of scale when enhancing, modernizing, or outsourcing operational support for their aerial firefighting resources. Conair provides aircraft for purchase, lease or contract, offering specialized services including engineering, flight operations and fleet maintenance related to aerial firefighting.
