Monty Groves has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several decades. Monty began their career in 1976 as a Development Engineer at Siltec Corporation. From there, they worked at Cincinnati Milacron Semiconductor Division as a Staff Process/Equipment Engineer specializing in Czochralski and Epitaxial Process. In 1990, they joined Wacker Siltronic Corporation as an Epitaxy Engineering Supervisor, managing a team of 5 engineers and overseeing Epitaxy Production and Parametric Equipment Process Support. In 1992, they joined ASM as a Senior Process Engineer, where they handled Epitaxy Process and Hardware Development, as well as worked as a Field Process Engineer and Customer Service Engineer. From 2015 to 2017, they served as the President and CEO of Frazier Lake Airpark Corporation, and in 2018, they became the Secretary of the Board of Directors for the same corporation. Since 2014, they have been working at Saxony Thermal as an Epitaxial Process Engineering Manager. Currently, Monty is an Sr. Applications Engineer at Conax Technologies, a position they have held since 2019.

Monty Groves attended San Jose State University from 1973 to 1975, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology/Earth Science. In October 1973, they also obtained a certification as a Commercial Airman from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
