Concept Schools operates and/or manages 30 high-quality public charter schools in 7 Midwest states, with nearly 2,000 staff members serving just over 13,000 students. In a research study released in January 2013 by CREDO of Stanford University, Concept Schools was named among the highest-performing charter support organizations in the nation. Horizon Science Academy-McKinley Park is one of the four Concept Schools in Chicago and authorized by the Illinois State Charter School Commission.
