PEER Support Specialist at Concern Housing

Eric Exum possesses extensive experience in support and counseling roles within various organizations. Since August 2019, Eric has been serving as a Peer Support Specialist for the Mobile SUD Unit at the Federation of Organizations. Eric has also worked as a House Monitor at RYHANS CENTER OF HOPE INC since September 2015 and as a Chaplain for the New York State Chaplains Task Force since August 2014. Additionally, Eric is a Chemical Alcohol Substance Abuse Counselor Trainee (CASAC-T) at Phoenix House, a role held since May 2014. Eric has been a Peer Support Specialist at both Concern Housing and Concern for Independent Living since 2011. Educational qualifications include a certificate as a Peer Support Specialist in Mental Health from the Office of Mental Health Association of Suffolk County and a certificate in Office Worker training with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint from Flexible Employment Office Workers Training Access NY, both attained in 2011 and 2010 respectively.
