Louise Power

Louise Power is an experienced professional in humanitarian aid and development, currently serving as the Irish Aid Programme Coordinator at Concern Worldwide since November 2021. With a strong background in grant management, institutional funding, and strategic planning, Louise has effectively liaised between headquarters and field teams in Somalia/Somaliland, while also contributing to donor communications and case studies. Prior roles include Desk Officer for Ethiopia and Uganda at GOAL Global and Desk Officer at the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade in Ireland, focusing on gender issues and humanitarian policy. Louise has managed various projects in public health and educational settings, and possesses a solid academic foundation with a Master's in Peace and Development Studies and a Bachelor's in Sociology and Spanish from the University of Limerick.
