Sayyeda Salam currently serves as the Executive Director for Concern Worldwide UK, with a mission focused on ending extreme poverty. In addition, Sayyeda is a Board Trustee for both the Disasters Emergency Committee and the Refugee Council, contributing to governance and strategy, particularly in Fundraising and Marketing. Sayyeda's previous roles include Director of Partnerships and Philanthropy at Save the Children UK and interim Director of Gulf Partnerships at Save the Children International, along with various leadership positions at Save the Children UK and OneVoice Europe. Sayyeda's academic background includes an Oxford Social Finance Programme from Saïd Business School, an MA in Asian/African History from SOAS University of London, and a BA in History from the University of Cambridge.
