Gal Winter

Gal Winter is a seasoned academic and researcher specializing in Biomedical Science with extensive experience in higher education and research. Currently serving as a Senior Lecturer at the University of New England since February 2015, Gal has held various lecturing roles and contributed to teaching at the University of Adelaide. Prior to this, Gal worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Queensland and completed a PhD in Molecular Biology at the Australian Wine Research Institute, involving significant research on biosciences. Additional roles include research assistant positions at Laffort Australia and in laboratory settings, along with earlier experience in quality analysis and product development at Shopping.com. Gal holds multiple degrees, including a PhD in Molecular Biology and a Graduate Certificate in Research Commercialisation from the University of Technology Sydney, along with a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and Food Science from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
