Matthew Hodges

Matthew Hodges, Ph.D, currently serves as Chief Operating Officer and Commercial and Operational Lead at HydRegen since August 2022. In addition, Matthew holds the position of Strategy & Commercial Advisor at Concert Bio and is a member of the Industrial Biotechnology Leadership Forum, both since January 2022 and March 2020 respectively. Prior to these roles, Matthew had a significant tenure at Oxford Biotrans Ltd. from September 2015 to November 2023, where responsibilities included Managing Director and Director of Technology & Operations. Earlier experience includes positions at Mars & Co. as a Senior Associate Consultant, and various roles at NiTech Solutions and International eChem in 2012. Matthew also served as Junior Dean at The Queen's College, University of Oxford, from October 2010 to October 2011. Matthew earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Molecular Biology and Genomics from the University of Oxford, where a Bachelor of Arts in Biological Sciences was also obtained. Matthew's educational foundation was established at The Manchester Grammar School.
