Pubudu Rukmal

Pubudu Rukmal has a diverse professional background in data science and engineering. Starting in 2013, they worked as an Engineer- Master Planning & Technology Strategy and Engineer- Radio Network Planning & Optimization at Etisalat Lanka (Private) Limited. In 2017, they joined Oakam Ltd as a Data Scientist and Data Scientist Intern, where they worked on an AI project titled 'Robot Advisor'. In 2019, they moved to Fluro as a Data Scientist and currently works as a Senior Data Scientist at Concirrus since 2022.

Pubudu Rukmal obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Electronic and Telecommunication from 2008 to 2013. Pubudu then obtained a CCNA certification from Cisco in October 2012. In 2016, they obtained a Master's Degree in Business Analytics (with specialisation in Computer Science) from UCL. Pubudu also obtained an ACMA/CGMA in Management Accounting from The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants from 2012 to 2014.
