Sten Ponsioen

Sten Ponsioen currently serves as Senior Associate Director in Research & Data Science at MUFG Investor Services since January 2024. Prior to this role, Sten was a Senior Data Scientist and Simulation and Analysis Engineer at Red Bull Racing and Red Bull Technology from July 2019 to December 2023. Sten's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Mechanical Systems from ETH Zürich, where involvement included roles as a Doctoral Candidate and Research Assistant in the Nonlinear Dynamics Group, as well as a Teaching Assistant for a Bachelor’s course in Dynamics. Additional teaching assistant roles occurred at TU Delft, along with an internship at HEINEKEN as team leader of a Minor-Stop-Reduction team and a research internship at Tendris Solutions. Sten holds Master’s and Bachelor’s Degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Delft University of Technology.
