Vicky Orozco

Vicky Orozco is an experienced music educator currently serving as a Percussion Teacher at Ethical Culture Fieldston School since August 2024. Previously, Vicky held the position of Co Director of Community & Equity at Concord Academy during the 2023-2024 academic year and served as a Diversity, Equity, and Belonging Specialist at Friends Seminary from 2022 to 2023. Vicky also worked at Ethical Culture Fieldston School as a Percussion Teacher for one year as a leave replacement in 2021-2022. Earlier roles include Middle School Music Teacher and Music Team Lead at Classical Charter Schools from 2017 to 2021 and Band Director at Miami-Dade County Public Schools from 2015 to 2017. Vicky obtained a Master of Music in Music Education from Teachers College, Columbia University, from 2017 to 2019, and a Bachelor of Music from Berklee College of Music from 2012 to 2015.
