Dr. Manoj Kumar, Ph.D. has over 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Dr. Manoj Kumar, currently serves as the Technical Vice President & Site Head at Concord Biotech Limited since February 2022. Previously, they worked as the Director of Research & Development at SPIMACO from September 2018 to September 2021, where they led the restructuring of R&D functions and established various strategies for product development and risk management. Before that, they served as the Head of R&D (Director, Formulation and Analytical Services) at Asia Pharmaceutical Industries from June 2011 to August 2018, overseeing the integration of formulation development, analytical research, and regulatory teams. Dr. Kumar also held the position of R&D Director at Hikma Pharmaceuticals PLC from March 2003 to June 2011, where they modernized the R&D facility and led multiple teams across different sites. Dr. Manoj Kumar, started their career as a Group Leader in R&D at Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, India, where they contributed to the development of conventional and modified release formulations. Dr. Kumar began their professional journey as a Research Scientist in R&D at Ranbaxy Research Labs, Gurgaon, India, focusing on drug delivery systems and innovative formulation processes.
Dr. Manoj Kumar, Ph.D. completed their education with a focus on Pharmaceutics (Pharmaceutical Technology). Dr. Manoj Kumar, obtained their Ph.D. degree from Hamdard University, New Delhi, India, between the years 1997 and 2000. Prior to that, they attended Vidyaniketan HS School in Faridabad, where they pursued their 10+2 education from 1976 to 1990. During this period, they studied Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
