Data & Analytics Manager

The Data & Analytics Manager develops data strategies, manages the data lifecycle, and creates actionable insights through advanced analytics, dashboards, and PowerBI reports. This role collaborates with business teams to optimize processes, eliminate manual reporting, and drive data-driven decisions with improved metrics and KPIs.

Essential Functions:

Develop and implement data strategies that align with business objectives. Oversee the end-to-end data lifecycle, including data collection, integration, cleansing, and storage, ensuring data is accurate, accessible, and actionable for various business units.

Drive the development and implementation of advanced analytics models, dashboards, and reports that provide actionable insights to key stakeholders, including hands-on build using PowerBI. Use statistical analysis, data modeling, and data visualization to support decision-making processes and business performance improvements.  Eliminate spreadsheets, email, and manual reporting processes wherever possible.

Work closely with business leaders, Sales, Finance and other departments to understand their data needs, develop custom reports, and identify opportunities for process optimization through data-driven insights. Advocate for the use of data to drive business strategy and innovation.  Reinvent KPIs, metrics, and dashboards currently used to run the business.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

  • 5+ years in data management, analytics, and business intelligence.

  • Hands-on experience with data lifecycle management, including data collection, integration, cleansing, and storage.

  • Proficiency in data analytics tools and platforms, particularly PowerBI.

  • Strong knowledge of statistical analysis, data modeling, and data visualization techniques.

  • Experience with ETL processes and data warehousing solutions.

  • Familiarity with programming languages such as SQL, Python, or R.

  • Ability to develop advanced analytics models and create interactive dashboards and reports.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Proven ability to work closely with business leaders, Sales, Finance, and other departments to understand their data needs and develop custom reports.

  • Strong advocacy for data-driven decision-making and innovation within the organization.

  • Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously and delivering results within deadlines.

  • Ability to lead initiatives to eliminate manual reporting processes and optimize data workflows.

Compensation Range: $120,000 to $160,000. Range can flux dependent on experience, education/training, etc.
