James Shigekane

James Shigekane has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. James is currently serving as the Director of Business Development, Pacific Region at Concordant, LLC, where they specialize in providing harmonized solutions for the federal government's program management, acquisition, data analysis, and visualization needs. Prior to this role, James held positions in the Hawaii Air National Guard as Vice Commander of the 154th Wing and in the United States Air Force as the Director of Safety, Pacific Air Forces. James has also worked as a U.S. Air Attaché for the United States Department of Defense and attended the French War College in Paris as a US Student. James' earlier roles include serving as the Commander of the 10th Airlift Squadron and Chief of Safety in the United States Air Force. James has proven experience in managing safety programs, evaluation of aircrew performance, and developing policies and procedures.

James Shigekane's education history includes a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biology, with a minor in Japanese Language, from the United States Air Force Academy, which they obtained from 1988 to 1992. James also holds a Master of Public Administration (M.P.A.) degree in Public Administration from Troy University, earned between 2001 and 2003. In 2005 and 2006, they attended the US Naval War College, where they completed a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in National Security and Strategic Studies. Additionally, in 2010, James received a Language Certification in French Language from the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center. Lastly, they attended the Ecole de Guerre in 2011 and 2012, where they pursued a Breveté Superior degree in Advanced Military and Operational Studies, International Affairs.
