Kristin Kappelmann has a diverse background in education, with experience spanning over two decades. Kristin started their career in 1997 as a Substitute Teacher at Mont K'iara International School. From there, they transitioned to Moberly Public Schools in 1998, where they worked as a Grade 5 teacher. In 1999, they moved on to Middle Grove Elementary, where they taught Grade 4-5. In 2000, they joined Concordia International School Shanghai as a Grade 3-4 Teacher and later became the Curriculum Coordinator from 2006 to 2011. In 2011, they took on the role of Elementary School Principal at Concordia International School Hanoi. Throughout their career, Kristin has gained extensive experience and expertise in curriculum coordination and teaching across different grade levels.
Kristin Kappelmann obtained a College Preparatory Certificate from Raytown South High in 1989-1993. Kristin then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from the University of Missouri-Columbia from 1993-1997. Additionally, they earned a Master of Education degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1998-1999. Currently, they are pursuing a Doctor of Education degree (EdD) from Nova Southeastern University, starting in 2013.
