Jacob Corzine has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Jacob began their career at ITT Technical Institute as an Instructor for Mathematics, Economics, and Study Skills from September 2008 to March 2009. Later, they worked as a translator from German to English on an independent basis starting from 2008. In 2014, they became a Lutheran Campus Pastor at the University of Pretoria, where they conducted English and German language ministry and handled preaching, teaching, counseling, and general administration. Jacob then joined Concordia University Chicago in 2017 as an Assistant Professor of Theology and eventually became an Associate Professor of Theology. Jacob also served as an Interim Dean in the College of Theology, Arts & Humanities. Currently, Jacob Corzine holds the position of Vice President of Publishing at Concordia Publishing House, starting from July 2023.
Jacob Corzine began their education at Bradley University in 1999, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics and German in 2003. Jacob then pursued further education at Concordia Theological Seminary from 2003 to 2008, obtaining a Masters of Divinity degree with a focus on Systematic Theology. Jacob continued their academic journey at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin from 2009 to 2013, where they completed their Doctor of Theology (ThD / Dr. Theol) degree, specializing in Systematic Theology.
