Managing Director, Church Planting, Renewal, And Support at Concordia Plans

Mark Wood has extensive experience in church leadership and organizational support within the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod. Currently serving as the Managing Director of Church Planting, Renewal, and Support, Mark Wood develops resources to aid congregations in church planting, revitalization, and wellbeing. Previously, Mark Wood held roles as Director of Witness and Outreach Ministry, focusing on equipping congregations for effective community engagement. As founding pastor of Lamb of God Lutheran Church, Mark Wood established the congregation from a church plant, and prior experience includes serving as Associate Pastor for Evangelism at Immanuel Lutheran Church, where Mark Wood initiated the first daughter church plant. Earlier in Mark Wood's career, management roles in program systems at Raytheon contributed to a diverse skill set. Mark Wood earned a Doctor of Ministry in Church Planting and Renewal from Reformed Theological Seminary and a Master of Divinity in Systematic Theology from Concordia Theological Seminary.
