Steve Gruenwald

Steve Gruenwald serves as the Director of Worker Wellness at Concordia Plan Services, a position held since August 1996. In this role, Steve leads a team focused on promoting financial, physical, and emotional health among LCMS church workers. Additionally, Steve contributes as the Better Health Editor, overseeing a quarterly wellness newsletter, and has served as a Health and Wellness Educator, providing guidance on healthier living to over 28,000 members of the Concordia Health Plan. Prior experience includes 12 years as a High School English, Speech, and Drama Teacher across two Lutheran North locations. Steve holds a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education from Concordia University Chicago and is a Certified Wellness Program Manager from the National Wellness Institute.
