Matthew Foster has a diverse work experience in the biomedical engineering and research fields. Matthew co-founded ConcR in 2018 and is currently serving in this role. From 2018 to 2020, they worked as a Graduate Student in Biomedical Engineering at The Wallace H. Coulter Department of Biomedical Engineering at Georgia Tech and Emory University. In 2018, they were an Associate Researcher at Imperial College London, working on a project related to cellular heterogeneity in chronic lymphocyte leukemia. Matthew also participated in the Deep Science Ventures program as the Founder of Biological Engineering, focusing on software and computational methods for pharmaceutical innovation and clinical practice. Prior to this, in 2017, they worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at Max Kelsen. Matthew's work experience includes a role as an Undergraduate Research Scholar at the Australian Institute of Bioengineering and Nanotechnology from 2015 to 2016, where they conducted research on a novel diagnostic test for breast cancer.
Matthew Foster completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) (Honours) in Chemical and Biological Engineering from The University of Queensland between 2013 and 2017. In 2016 and 2017, they pursued further studies at Imperial College London, focusing on Chemical Engineering with a specialization in Biomolecular and Nuclear Engineering. From 2018 to 2020, Matthew attended the Georgia Institute of Technology, where they engaged in Graduate Research primarily in the field of Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering.
