Bryan Groves has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Bryan started their career as a Campus Ambassador for Rockstar Energy Drink from September 2017 to December 2018. Later, they worked as a Graphic Designer and Event Manager for Tristateracer.com from August 2016 to May 2019. In May 2018, Bryan also served as a Cyber Security Intern for the West Virginia Office of Technology, assisting in network monitoring and designing web applications for the state government. Concurrently, they worked as a Cyber Security Research Assistant at Marshall University from August 2018 to May 2019.

Bryan's interest in cybersecurity continued to develop, leading to their role as a Cyber Operations intelligence Analyst at the United States Department of Defense from November 2018 to October 2019. Bryan was responsible for maintaining the integrity and security of the Department of Defense Information Network.

In 2014, Bryan joined the United States Air Force, initially serving as a Cyber Systems Operator from August 2014 to February 2020. During this time, they gained experience in directing the installation, testing, and maintenance of communications-electronics equipment and systems. Bryan then transitioned into the role of a Cyberspace Operations Officer from February 2020 onwards. As an officer, Bryan was involved in planning and preparing for cyber missions, reviewing mission tasking and intelligence information.

Bryan's most recent role is as a Senior Software Engineer at General Dynamics Mission Systems, where they have been working since October 2019. In this position, they perform software requirements analysis, research, design, development, and testing of software and tools.

Currently, Bryan Groves holds the position of a Senior Cyber Software Engineer at Concurrent Technologies Corporation, starting from December 2020. In this role, they are responsible for analyzing, designing, developing, and testing cybersecurity solutions, including performing static code analysis, kernel-level debugging, and software modification. Bryan also contributes to vulnerability analysis and the development of proof of concept code for selected vulnerabilities.

Bryan Groves has a diverse education history, reflecting their interest in various fields related to technology and security. Bryan began their education at Marshall University in 2014, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Science degree in Digital Forensics and Information Assurance, both completed in 2019.

During their time at Marshall University, Bryan also obtained a CompTIA Security+ ce certification in November 2015, demonstrating their knowledge in securing computer networks and systems.

Bryan further expanded their education by enrolling in the Community College of the Air Force from 2015 to 2019, where they pursued an Associate of Science degree in Military Information Systems Technology. This program provided him with a deeper understanding of information systems and their applications in the military setting.

Bryan went on to pursue their passion for cybersecurity by enrolling in a Master of Science program in Business Cyber Security Management at West Virginia University from 2019 to 2020. This program equipped him with the necessary skills to manage and mitigate cybersecurity risks within businesses.

Building upon their cybersecurity knowledge, Bryan continued their studies at West Virginia University and completed a Master of Science degree in Business Data Analytics from 2020 to 2021. This program focused on utilizing data analytics to drive business strategy and decision-making.

Throughout their education, Bryan also obtained several certifications to enhance their skills and expertise. These certifications include: GIAC Cyber Threat Intelligence (GCTI) from GIAC Certifications in September 2019, CompTIA Network+ from CompTIA in October 2019, Certified Ethical Hacker from EC-Council in December 2018, Certified Network Defense Architect (CNDA) from EC-Council in December 2018, EC-Council Certified Incident Handler v1 from EC-Council in December 2018, and GIAC Exploit Researcher and Advanced Penetration Tester (GXPN) from GIAC Certifications in September 2021. Most recently, in November 2022, Bryan obtained a GIAC Reverse Engineering Malware (GREM) certification from GIAC Certifications.
