Daniel Krug has a diverse work experience in various roles related to data analysis and environmental planning. Daniel is currently employed as an Energy Policy and Data Analyst at Concurrent Technologies Corporation since October 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Data Analyst 1 at THE INFORMATION MILLENNIUM GROUP from July 2021 to October 2022, where they provided support for data collection and ensured accuracy by addressing errors and inconsistencies. Daniel also conducted non-response calls.
Daniel has also worked as an Environmental Team Intern at Thomas Jefferson Planning District Commission from June 2020 to August 2020, where they gained experience in environmental planning. Additionally, they served as a Partnership and Technical Assistance Team Summer Intern at the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) in June 2019 and July 2019. During this internship, they collaborated with Alice Dasek on researching State Targeted Energy Programs (STEPs) and collected best practices to create a guideline packet for other states to use.
Daniel Krug obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Environmental Science from the University of Virginia in the period between 2016 and 2020. Later on, they pursued further education at the University of Virginia Frank Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy, where they earned a Master's degree in Public Policy Analysis from 2019 to 2021.
Aside from their formal education, Daniel Krug also obtained a certification in "Programming for Everybody (Getting Started with Python)" from Coursera in May 2022.
